Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers mixed experiences with comfortable rooms but showing signs of age. The service shines with friendly staff who go the extra mile. The location is fantastic for those seeking tranquility and breathtaking landscapes, but improvements are needed in the dining experience.
The hotel offers limited views of the sea, with the rooms situated in a separate building from the main hotel. The experiences within the main building may vary. The staff was friendly, with some rooms needing updating and improvements. Dining options were decent for a day of adventure but lacked some ingredients. The location on the Isle of Skye is remote but stunning, lacking some service etiquette.
I appreciated the hotel and rooms, but they weren't as spacious and luxurious as described. The rooms were large enough to accommodate my 9-year-old son in a separate single bed, but were let down by a cracked basin and non-functioning soap dispenser, which was unexpected for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and comfortable but were not designed for taller individuals like me. The price seemed a bit high for what was offered, and having a doorway to the adjoining room was a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making up for some shortcomings in etiquette. The location was stunning, perfect for adventurers exploring the Isle of Skye. However, some dining options were overpriced, and the lack of certain breakfast items left something to be desired.
